Privacy Policy

SellingCurrently is an independent reference site about marketplace fees, cross-border VAT, and platform comparisons for sellers across Europe, the UK, and the US. This page explains what data the site collects and how it is used.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which guides are read and how visitors arrive. Analytics and the newsletter sign-up set cookies in your browser. None of this loads until you accept it: on your first visit a banner lets you accept or decline. If you decline, no analytics or marketing cookies are set, and you can still read everything. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the setting stored in your browser.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is processed by MailerLite (our email provider) to send the weekly brief and the resources you signed up for. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time, which removes you from the list. We never sell or share your address.

Server logs

The site is hosted in the European Union. As with any website, the hosting provider keeps standard server access logs — typically IP address, request time, and browser user agent — for security and troubleshooting. These logs are not used to profile individual visitors.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you follow one, the destination marketplace may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy — on their site, not this one.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold (essentially your newsletter email, if you subscribed) and request access or deletion. For newsletter data, unsubscribing removes you immediately. Questions about host-level server logs should be directed to the hosting provider.
